Wreck the KT's engine to make it even better for you. The KT is too slow to seriously threaten the ISU as long as its engine is working properly. SU is capable of handling Pumas well enough. They're fast, so mobility kills are essential. Panther? The ISU will wreck that crew's day as long as you get the first shot. If you have your ISU, you also now have vision and a probable free shot on the stationary unit.ĮDIT: Forgot I was going through the list of things the OKW loses to an ISU. Very useful if your opponent is trying to manage across multiple angles of attack or defence, and they don't have the awareness to see "Oh, hey, my unit stopped in the middle of the road for some reason." I'm not sure if they still do it, but I've found that they have a chance to kill one model, and if they do that, it stops the whole unit's movement. Blobbed veteran infantry? Chances are that there's going to be quite a few less units, there. Veteran infantry? One shot and that squad's down to half health. Lay mines, have AT grenades, and generally just make sure you don't lose your ISU to a flanking manuever and you can knockout just about everything the OKW can throw at you. If you've managed to harass the OKW fuel or punished their base placement effectively, you'll come out with your Beast Killer before they get their first Panther. If it's a 1v1, and you're playing as the SU, get an ISU-152. ![]()
